Danny E. Ferguson

Danny Ferguson holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma. As part of his educational study he had the opportunity to participate as a member of a research team investigating the mechanical functions of the human ear. The team’s ultimate goal is to design a totally implantable hearing device. Also, he participated as a team leader in the 2006 Oklahoma Governor's Cup business plan competition and received a 2nd place award. Some other honors that Danny has been awarded include the Award of Excellence from the University of Oklahoma and the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.

Charles E. Ferguson

Charles Ferguson has been a resident of the Harrah community since 1952 with the exception of three years military service and four years pursuing career opportunities.  He has sought an integral role as a supporter of the community serving as Committee Chairman BSA Troop 65 for four years, President of the Harrah Quarterback Club, and has provided support for school and church activities.  He is currently Presiding Officer of the Learn and Earn Investment Club.

Charles is a graduate of Harrah High School and attained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oklahoma State University in 1969 majoring in General Business with minors in General Engineering, Military Science, and Economics.

His military service spanned a period of 31 years including service as a combat platoon leader in S. Vietnam and Cambodia.  Subsequent assignments provided wide experience in troop leadership, evaluation of various combat organizations, and staff positions culminating in assignment as a Staff Action Officer at the Pentagon.  He entered Retired Reserve status in 1997 in the grade of Lieutenant Colonel.

Charles’ career experience includes three years as owner/operator of an OTASCO hardware store, one year as manager of a TG&Y automotive center, and approximately twenty-seven years as a buyer/contracting officer at Tinker Air Force Base.  His experience at tinker has entailed all aspects of developing, negotiating, and administering contracts for spares acquisition, engineering services, and overhaul efforts.  As team leader for negotiation and administration efforts, he has gained extensive experience in assembling and coordinating teams of engineers, price analysts, logisiticians, and others.  Numerous schools and seminars served to strengthen his capabilities and gain a thorough understanding of various industry, government, personnel, and contracting law practices.  He has conducted numerous seminars and training classes and has been mentor for many newly hired personnel in the contracting arena.

Charles currently resides in the Harrah community with his wife Linda and son Keith.  Charles and Linda have one other son Danny, a daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Lance Hofeld of Harrah, and three grandchildren.
